Hello!  I am David Driscoll from the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office.  I have been a deputy with the Sheriff's Office for nearly 18 years.  I started in 2001.  I have had different jobs with the Sheriff's Office.  I worked in our Intake Division for over 6 years.  I was a D.A.R.E. officer and instructor for 6 years.  Teaching the kids was one of the best jobs I have had.  You never know the true value of your job when you walk into a school and you are treated like a rock star each and every day.  Very rewarding!  I know work in the Property division of our jail.  New challenges and back to shift work.  I still love it!  I have been a member of LEU since 2016.  My wife, Alecia Driscoll, started being the hotel coordinator for the VA route.  I got involved then and I have been hooked ever since.  I started my first year as a hotel support member.  Then the next year I became the box truck driver and have been doing so since.  I took over donation coordinator 3 years ago.  It is a very demanding year round job and the first year brought many new challenges that tested a lot in me.  Every year since has been smoother and smoother thanks to the awesome members of the VA route. I am very passionate about LEU and the mission it brings.
