In his down time he enjoys travelling the world to try new foods - and is currently on a quest to stamp his passport on all 7 continents!

VA Division 3rd Vice President
Chris Burack
I started my career in Law Enforcement in 2002 and have been a member of LEU since 2015 with Team Greenville. I started my career with the Goldsboro Police Department (NC) where I worked for 5 years and now with the Greenville Police Department (NC). I have worked in Accident Reconstruction (Field Operations Bureau), Major Crimes Unit (Criminal Investigations Bureau), Personnel and Recruiting (Administrative Service Bureau), and as a Sergeant in the Field Operation Bureau. I'm currently in charge of the Special Victims Unit in the Criminal Investigations Bureau. I'm the Lead Physical Fitness Instructor for the Basic Law Enforcement Training Day Academy at Pitt Community College (NC), Certified Driving Instructor, and Rapid Deployment Instructor. I attended East Carolina University where I met my wife (Karen) and currently live in Winterville, NC with our son (Caden).

VA Division Treasurer
David Driscoll
I have been with the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office for 22 years. I have been involved with LEU since 2015. In 2018, I became Donation Coordinator with the LEU-VA Board staff and have held that position since. In 2023, I became Treasurer of LEU-VA along with running Donations. I love LEU and everything it stands for. I love giving my time back to such a good cause. Knowing we are a 100% fully volunteer organization is what makes it stand out. We raise the money and give it all right back! I am married to a wonderful wife who is also a LEO with the Sheriff's Office and previous member of LEU. We have 2 kids aged 13 and 6. We reside in Virginia Beach and love every minute of it!

VA Division Sergeant at Arms
Mark Search
I graduated from James Madison University and began my law enforcement career in 2004 with Prince William County Police; currently serving as a First Sergeant in Special Operations supervising the Bike Team.
I joined Law Enforcement United as a charter member in 2009 and have served as a team captain for Team Prince William. I have been a staff member on the Virginia Division board since 2017 as a coordinator and lead Ride Marshal. When it’s too cold to ride a bicycle, I also volunteer as a ski instructor for special needs students.

VA Division Secretary
Tracy Zingg
Tracy has been in public safety for over 33 years, joining LEU in 2014 and joining the Board in 2019. She has served as communications coordinator, membership coordinator and secretary for VA Division. Tracy retired as the Assistant Director of Operations at the Prince William County Department of Public Safety Communications in 2026 and also serves as the Team Prince William Treasurer. She enjoys volunteering her time with several non-profit organizations, dancing, and traveling with friends and family.

VA Division Trustee
Eddie Turso
My name is Eddie Turso and I have been in law enforcement since 2000. I started my career with the Miami Dade Police Department, where I last worked as an Auto Theft Detective. In 2008 I move to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, in Orlando, Florida. I worked as an FTO for four years and have spent the last 6 years in CID. I worked Sex Crimes for 5 years and the last year in White Collar Crimes.
I was reluctant to join Law Enforcement United when I first heard of them. There was just no way I wanted to cycle 250 miles. That was until I heard a 14 year old young lady speak of how she’s benefited from COPS Kids Camp, which LEU fully funds. After hearing her I decided to ride one time, just to say I did it. I became a member in 2018 and got hooked. The friendships and bonds created throughout the week together is incredible but knowing your efforts are helping a fallen officer’s child is something that cannot be explained.
I became a Virginia Division board member in 2021 and have not looked back. Law Enforcement United is a great organization with an amazing mission.

VA Division Membership Coordinator
Stacey Marcum
I started my Law Enforcement career in 2004 in Gates Co., NC working with a few different agencies until transitioning into the private sector as a post-adjudication Substance Abuse Counselor. I maintain my law enforcement certification and am a certified general instructor.
I have been a member of the Law Enforcement United family since 2016 and joined the staff in 2023 as the membership coordinator.
I am married to Luke and together we have four kids and we currently reside in South Mills, NC.
