ABOUT US

Law Enforcement United is founded upon and committed to honoring officers who have died in the line of duty, and ensuring that their surviving family is supported and not forgotten. Our fundraising efforts support The Road to Hope, Concerns of Police Survivors, The Officer Down Memorial Page, and Spirit of Blue Foundation.

Together we will go the extra mile to honor these heroes and help their surviving family members always have the support programs they need to begin to rebuild.

We are a group of Law Enforcement Officers, Survivors, and Civilian supporters who have made it our mission to honor the fallen and remember the survivors.  We are 100% volunteer driven organization.  We all have full time jobs and families just like you. Law Enforcement United is our passion, and we hope it becomes yours too.

To our families, friends, colleagues, donors, and sponsors; thank you for standing beside us! We could not do it without you!!

HISTORY

Eleven founding members chartered Law Enforcement United in the fall of 2009. Law Enforcement United's membership includes Federal, State and Local law enforcement officers, survivors, as well as civilian support members, stretching across the United States of America. Law Enforcement United is founded upon and committed to honoring officers that have died in the line of duty, and ensuring that their surviving family is supported and never forgotten.

LEU began with our Charter Division in Virginia.  Governed by the Virginia Division Executive Board and humble but ambitious beginnings of about 150 participants. Each year we continued to grow and when the Pennsylvania Division formed in 2011; the Virginia Division became the temporary parent National Division of Law Enforcement United. The Virginia Division Executive Board dual hatted as the National Executive Board of Law Enforcement United; providing guidance and oversight to the Pennsylvania Division, FLETC Long Ride, and in 2014 when the New Jersey Division, and Ruff Ride also joined our ranks as required. In 2015 The National Division of Law Enforcement United was established to take over business operations and the Virginia Division returned to their own division specific governance. In 2016 LEU approved the addition of a new sanctioned event the Tough Ride from Roanoke, VA to Washington, D.C.  LEU continues to grow with over 1,500 members from 26 states and Canada.
